La batalla por el mayor premio cinematográfico del Reino Unido ya tiene ganadores. La Academia Británica de las Artes Cinematográficas y de la Televisión se adelantó este año a otras grandes premiaciones de la temporada y celebró su ceremonia este domingo 21 de febrero en el Royal Festival Hall del Southbank Centre de Londres.
En su edición 79°, los BAFTA premiaron con mayor número de galardones a la cinta de Paul Thomas Anderson, “One Battle After Another”, que se llevó seis de los 14 premios a los que fue nominada. Asimismo, “Sinners” y “Frankenstein”de Guillermo del Toro destacaron llevándose tres premios cada una.
Fue una edición especialmente reñida que contó con grandes títulos encabezando la carrera. A continuación, la lista de nominados a los BAFTA, con los ganadores indicados en negrita.
